My name is Peter, a retired computer specialist.
I have been wearing and eventually handing out Make America Kind (Again) buttons since February 2017.
Whatever your political leanings or beliefs, we can all agree that there’s too much fear, anger, anxiety and hatred in today’s politics.
Kindness is something we can all get behind no matter our background, party, location or job. I found that others agreed and asked me where I got my button.
Together with Jennifer, a good friend and graphics design professor, we developed some favorite designs and started producing inexpensive buttons of our own. From that point forward, we have been handing out buttons to anyone who expresses an interest. It is both a rewarding and heartening experience.
As of June 6, 2020 I changed the Make America Kind Again (MAKA) buttons to the Make America Kind (MAK) buttons to be able to reflect where we are as a nation. I support everything we can do to communicate kindness and love to our fellow human beings.
If you too want to help Make America Kind, one button at a time, I have made it as easy as possible. Just select the buttons you like and you can do it in minutes. Join the team, spread kindness and have fun.
Thanks,
Peter
PS This site has been set up as a labor of love. We do not make any money from it.
November 2023: I decided to introduce a new button, Make the World Kind (MWK), and offer it to people I meet.
On iPhone, have someone open the photo app and view this QR code and the site address should pop up on their phone.
